Dagestan Council of Ulemas makes statement to support Russian operation in Syria

Makhachkala, October 19, 2015. The Republican Council of Ulamas made a statement to support the Russia's actions in Syria in the fight against terrorism. The Muslim scientists noted that Russia's actions are aimed, first and foremost, to restore peace in Syria, and called on other countries to fight against the terrorists, "the Islamic state" that distort the ideas of Islam.
