Another blog tour of "Wonders of Caucasus" series starts in Pyatigorsk

Pyatigorsk, September 8, 2014. Another blog tour of the "Wonders of Caucasus" series will be going through the Caucasian Mineral Waters, Stavropol region. September 5, CEO of the Northern Caucasus Media Association Razhap Mussayev, director of "Caucasus" center of modern Caucasian politics Igor Sopov, popular blogger Sergei Mukhamedov, and member of the expert youth council of "KSK" JSC Malik Kimbarov held a press conference on starting the new phase of bloggers’ travel around NCFD regions.

Igor Sopov noted that the blog tours have raised enormous interest, especially in social networks and new-born media and added that the ongoing tour will help the Caucasian Mineral Waters area regain the status of a nation-wide resort.

In the following 3 days, the guests will see the sights of Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, Yessentuki and Zheleznovodsk. They will have an excursion around the largest underground lake of the North Caucasus called Proval and see the place of famous Russian poet Lermontov’s duel in Pyatigorsk, the largest man-made park in Europe, the Ring mountain and the Grotto of Love in Kislovodsk, the St. Nicholas Church, the Palace of Bukhara Emir, the well-known prehistoric cave in Zheleznovodsk and lots of other beautiful places. Later, they’ll attend Sergei Mukhamedov’s master class for Caucasian online journalists and bloggers.

The participants can apply for specific categories of the Caucasian Internet Award "Prometheus-2014" specially introduced for bloggers – "Tourism", "Culture", "People: Caucasusian hospitality" and "I like it!" The awarding ceremony will be part of the 2nd North Caucasus Media Forum bringing together leading domestic journalists and NCFD local authorities.
