Makhachkala, October 23, 2018. An application for smartphones with an animated alphabet of the most common languages of peoples of the Northern Caucasus will be launched in the beginning of 2019. The application has been developed by a programmer from Dagestan, who created online dictionaries of languages of the local peoples.

“If you take, for example, the Russian-Lezghin dictionary, about 3-4 thousand people use it monthly. I hope that my work will help to attract attention of the young people to the study of national languages and to preserve them” - Zaur Agamov said. The new application will be focused on children. It is assumed that children will use animation and certain associations for the correct spelling and pronouncing of letters and words in native languages. Earlier, Agamov developed mobile dictionary applications for the translation of words and phrases from Russian into the languages of the peoples of the Northern Caucasus.
