Makhachkala, December 12, 2017. The law enforcers of the Republic of Dagestan completed the investigation of the criminal case against seven residents of Makhachkala, the members of the criminal organization.

According to the press service of Dagestan Prosecutor's Office, the investigation of the criminal case instituted on several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for the formation of the illegal armed gang, the illegal acquisition and storage of ammunition, weapons and explosives was completed.

The members of the bandit group had organized the criminal community in Makhachkala in 2016. They agreed on joint activities and chose the leader. After that, they provided themselves with weapons, ammunition and explosive devices.

Their main task was to organize terrorist acts, to attack the law enforcement officers and government officials. The actions of the gang were stopped by the law enforcement officers; all its members were detained.

The criminal case against seven members of the gang was investigated and transferred to Makhachkala Soviet District Court for examination on the merits.
