The Head of the Republic of Dagestan has taken part in the VIII Interdepartmental Scientific and Practical Conference "The Army and Society. Ten Years of a New Interaction Format' in Moscow. The work, which was started 10 years ago in terms of interaction between the regional authorities and the Ministry of Defense, today fully justifies itself" – Dagestani top official pointed out, commenting on results of the event.

The Head of the region appreciated the work started at a time when the country was experiencing completely different conditions and was subsequently adjusted taking into account new factors. As to Melikov, the positive results of such close cooperation became evident with the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
