Ramazan Abdulatipov meets with Victor Alonso Ventimilla

Makhachkala, August 11, 2015. Today, August 11, the Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdullatipov met with the Chairman of the South-Western branch of "Sberbank of Russia" Victor Ventimilla Alonso.

The parties considered the issue related to the provision of services for the revolving credit line to finance the deficit of funds for execution of budgetary obligations of the republic in 2015. The top officials also discussed the problem of availability of services and products of the JSC "Sberbank of Russia" in the municipal districts of Dagestan, where there is no subdivisions of the bank.

It should be noted that in recent years the branch network of Sberbank increased in two times. New points of service appeared in the capital of the republic and in the remote areas. Today in the republic there are 56 branches of Sberbank of Russia in 8 cities and 10 districts, 44 of them operate in the new format. In total, depositors hold more than 36 billion rubles in Dagestan branch of the bank.

As part of the discussion, Abdullatipov stressed the importance of speedy transition to the regime of non-cash payments in the republic. Vintimilla Victor Alonso, in turn, said that Sberbank actively work in this direction by introducing credit card services. For the time being, Sberbank signed more than 1,636 contracts with companies to transfer salaries of employees to the bankcard accounts; the number of residents of Dagestan receiving wages in this way exceeded 200 thousand.

As noted, Dagestan branch of the Sberbank of Russia is one of the largest taxpayers; over the past year it transferred 211 million rubles in the budget, including the corporate income tax, the bulk of which (199 million rubles) came to the republican budget of Dagestan.
