Dmitry Medvedev visits Dagestan exposition at Sochi-2015 Investment Forum

Sochi, October 2, 2015. The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev today, October 2, within the framework his visits to exhibitions of subjects of the Russian Federation at the XIV International Investment Forum "Sochi-2015" visited the exposition of the Republic of Dagestan.

The Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov who accompanied the Prime Minister spoke about the projects submitted by the region. In particular, the top officials took interest in the developments of the plant "Aviaagregat" - a light single-engine double training aircraft SR-10 project and micro electro mechanical systems used in aviation. The project has been presented by the Microsystem Technology Center of the Central Research Institute "Aperture" (Makhachkala).

Further, introducing the exposition of the republic to the Prime Minister, Ramazan Abdulatipov reported about the full readiness to launch Gotsatlinskaya HPS. The Head of the republic informed Dmitry Medvedev on the implementation of priority development projects in Dagestan, including the project "economy de-shadowing". The Prime Minister has approved the work carried out in the region.

Noteworthy, the main topics of the forum "Sochi-2015" were the realization of the country's export potential and import substitution programs, the development of the financial market, changes in the structure of the Russian economy. Dagestan has presented 57 investment projects in various sectors - industry, agriculture, and others.
