On February 15, the first deputy Minister of Transport and Road Construction of the Republic of Dagestan Alibek Alibekov took part in the video conference on the issues of implementation of the investment project "Acquisition of vehicles of ground public transport for subsequent transfer into leasing".
The event participants agreed to render consulting assistance in completing the application, approved by the Ministry of Transport of Russia. Currently the regional Ministry together with the administrations of the urban districts is forming the application of the Republic of Dagestan to participate in the investment project.
It should be noted that the investment project stipulates purchasing medium-, large- and especially large-class buses running on diesel or gas-motor fuel and vehicles for people with limited mobility in 2023-2024. The participation in the project will make it possible to upgrade public transport in urban districts of the republic, to improve the quality of transport services as well as to increase the volume of urban and suburban passenger traffic.
