The presentation of the new project "Reading Together" for the young people has taken place in the Public Support Headquarters of the Republic of Dagestan in Makhachkala. The project aims at popularization of reading among schoolchildren and students living in the region. It is also designed to attract attention of young people to the local literature and culture.

“The volunteer movement "Reading Together" is an idea that unites people of different ages and interests around the love of reading. This movement can be organized in schools, libraries, community centers or even online. The main goal of the project is to motivate people, especially children and teenagers, to cultivate love of reading and expand their worldview. In general, the volunteer movement "Reading Together" is a great opportunity to unite people around a common interest, to help others and develop their own skills and interests", - the project’s author Magomed Magomedov says.

As to Magomedov, within the framework of the project, meetings in different national languages will be held every week. The meetings will be attended by editors-in-chief of the republic's national newspapers.
