Makhachkala, August 28, 2019. The festival of Russian national groups Special Folk Edition opens in Germany on September 20 as part of the large-scale international cultural project “Russian Seasons”. Dagestani ensemble "Lezginka" is among the creative bands invited.

“We will bring 6 Russian collectives, each of which is unique and authentic in its own way. The performances of artists will take place in 6 cities of Germany: in Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden, Leipzig, Torgau and Zerbst.

“Each band will give three or four full-fledged recitals. This is a unique opportunity for German viewers to feel the richness of the Russian soul through the language of dance and song, to get acquainted with the traditions of the peoples of Russia thanks to the masters of performing art” – one of the event organizers says. The festival will last from September 20 to December 12.
