Makhachkala, February 25, 2014. Daghestan State Choir will take part in the solemn opening ceremony of the XII Paralympic Winter Games, the republican ministry of culture reports.
Rehearsals with the combined choir of 400 people including the popular choirs such as Pyatnitsky Russian Folk Chorus, Patriarchal Choir, Kuban Cossack Chorus, choirs from Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Tuvan, Ossetia, Udmurtia and Arkhangelsk will be conducted within 8 days.
At the opening ceremony, the combined choir will perform two compositions, the names of which are kept secret. Besides, the choir prepares music program in different dialects of Daghestani peoples, which will be presented at evening meetings with other choirs.
