Makhachkala, January 21, 2018. The evening in honor of the centenary of birth of the famous rope-walkers from Dagestan, the founders of the circus dynasty "Tovkra" Rabadan Abakarov and Yaragi Khajikurbanov, has been held in Moscow. Moscow Center for Culture (MCC) "Dagestan" has become the organizer of the festival, the vice-president of the MCC Olesya Gerasimenko said.
The program of the event included a documentary about the life and work of the rope walkers "Between Heaven and Earth". An exhibition of archive photos was open. Besides, the visitors could see the circus performances.

"The hereditary rope-walker of the Abakarov dynasty, the frequent guest of the prestigious events in Moscow and the world's largest cities Rasul Abakarov has performed on the event" Gerasimenko is quoted saying.

The descendants of the famous dynasty, the circus performers, as well as the prominent public figures and the representatives of ethno-cultural associations of Moscow and youth organizations attended the evening.
