Makhachkala, November 28, 2014. Foreign companies will invest in building a waste recycling plant in Makhachkala, the press service of the city administration told RIA "Dagestan".

Earlier in the week, head of the Makhachkala administration Magomed Suleimanov met with representatives of foreign companies willing to invest in a waste processing plant and building greenhouses for growing greens and flowers.

The meeting was attended by chairman of the City Council Abdulmumin Ibragimov, official representative of the Israeli company "AT" New technologies for municipal services" Mark Melikhov, CEO and founder of the "Euroquartz" company Adil Davudov, and president of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation Magomed Aliomarov, and other officials.

Participants talked about some agricultural projects and options for investing in a waste processing plant and greenhouses. The city mayor outlined the priorities in implementing the investment projects – a potential for employment and tax base increase.

Abdulmumin Ibragimov noted that was a relevant and important dispute. He said he was sure that in the context of the limited budget, such major projects will help boost Makhachkala’s economic development.
