Makhachkala, September 12, 2014. September 28 to October 30, the Makhachkala airport will be closed due to runway reconstruction, the city administration’s press service informed RIA "Dagestan".
The reconstruction will help increase the trailer train cars admittance of the Makhachkala-Moscow and Makhachkala-St.Petersburg routes. The airport is expected to resume it performance October 31, 2014.
To facilitate the situation, the "VIM-Avia" and "Redwings" airlines will carry out 4 flights a day for Daghestani passengers at the airport of Grozny. A shuttle will take passengers from the "Severny" bus station of Makhachkala to the Grozny airport.
Deputy Daghestan minister of industry, transport and energy Magomedgadji Radjabov says the bus fare can be included in the ticket price soon.
