Information portal to support Dagestani manufacturers launched

Makhachkala, April 20, 2015. Information portal to support Dagestani manufacturers has started, a source in the republican ministry of industry, trade and investment told RIA Dagestan.

The site was developed with information support of the Dagestan Public Procurement Committee. From now on, regional producers have an opportunity to post information about their products with their technical and cost characteristics. The portal developers ensured the site is simple to use allowing vendors and consuners to easily use the content.

With the new site, state customers will be able to seek goods for public procurement, and producers and consumers will be able to find and contact each other in and outside the republic. Using the portal, any producer will be enabled to apply for government contracts, thus tightening competition for government contracts allowing for a more equitable distribution of public funds.

Dagestan has been an agricultural region and Dagestani farmers often supply their products to other regions of the country and abroad. The ministry urges all producers to post information about their products on
