Hotel & Lodging Association to appear in Dagestan

Makhachkala, January 18, 2016. The questions related to the hotel business and the creation of the republican Hotel & Lodging Association have been discussed yesterday at the meeting at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment RD attended by the representatives of ministries and departments, experts in the field of economy, as well as the managers of hotels and public organizations of Dagestan.

The Consumer Market department head of the Ministry Nabi Yusupov said that the Association aims at development of hotel business in the republic, the protection of rights and interests of its members, the assistance to ensure the effectiveness of their activities and the creation of stable hospitality conditions in Dagestan.

The adviser to the Head of Dagestan Denga Khalidov recalled that Dagestani leader instructed to find points of contact and to determine strategic targets between the authorities, the non-governmental organizations and business communities aimed at active cooperation with the civil society. To this end, the republic established the Association of non-profit organizations (ANKORD) "Unity and Development", which unites several dozens of organizations in different fields.

"We know that the hotel industry has its own problems and their decision will lead to the positive situation in the country in the field of tourism", - Khalidov said. The adviser to Dagestani Head said that in the future the Hotel & Lodging Association may join the ANKORD, which, according to Khalidov, established itself with a good hand.
