The day before, on February 6, the International exhibition of food and beverages "Prodexpo-2023" started its work in Moscow. The event represents all the sectors of food market in Russia and several countries.

Traditionally "Prodexpo" gathers the largest in Russia exposition of alcoholic drinks and wines from dozens of countries. Dagestan wine-making enterprise "Derbent Sparkling Wines Plant" OJSC also presented its production at the exhibition.

"Derbent Sparkling Wines Factory annually takes part in this exhibition, which serves as a useful platform for establishing business relations with the representatives of the trade sphere, including federal and regional networks. This year we exhibited 18 wines, these are sparkling and still wines.

The participants of the event display great interest to our products. I would like to mention that the new federal law "On the development of viticulture and winemaking in the Russian Federation" works well and the market demand for wines from natural raw materials increased significantly. Our plant has its own plantations of solar berries, taking into account the purchase of raw materials from third-party producers, we processed more than 34 thousand tons of grapes in the past 2022" – the deputy director general on agrarian issues of the JSC Gaidar Shuaibov said.
