Dagestan expects fast growth in production

Makhachkala, December 15, 2015. In the next three years, Dagestan authorities predicts growth in production of goods and services for all types of economic activity, - Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov says.

"The growth rate of industrial production is estimated at an average of 12.9%, in agriculture - 6.5%, the investment in fixed assets - 5%," - Abdulatipov informed.
According to R. Abdulatipov, in 2016 as part of the priority project "Effective agro-industrial complex" the republican authorities will continue the implementation of measures aimed at the development of poultry farming, viticulture, livestock, fisheries sector; planned breeding gardens of intensive type, the creation of agro-industrial parks and geothermal agro-parks.

By 2020, there will be created 17 industrial parks, the Head of Dagestan said, reminding the operation of the existing industrial parks in the republic such as "Tubeh", "Crystal City" and "Uytash Airport".

"Over the past two years, the annual average growth rate of industrial production amounted to 123.5%, including in the processing industry - 129.6%, which is higher than the average for the North Caucasusian Federal District and Russia as a whole"- Dagestani Head concluded.
