On Tuesday, February 22, the Acting Minister of Agriculture and Food of Dagestan Battal Battalov held a meeting on the issue of providing state support to the baking industry.

The deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Emin Shaikhgasanov, the heads of sectoral departments of the Ministry, as well as owners of more than 10 bakery enterprises of the republic attended the event. During the meeting, Battalov recalled that under Russian Government Decree No. 2140, the bakers are provided with subsidies to reimburse part of their costs for producing bread and bakery products with a shelf life of up to 5 days.

“A rate of 2.5 rubles per kilogram of bread and bakery products is provided for reimbursement of part of the costs,” the acting minister said. Emin Shaikhgasanov briefed the attendees with the details and conditions of provision of state support. The owners of bakery enterprises expressed opinions and exchanged experience in gaining state support.
