"Dagenergoset" specialists clear power lines of Gergebil and Tlyarata networks

Makhachkala, June 1, 2014. Repair services of a subsidiary of the North Caucasus’ interregional distribution grid company "Dagenergoset" cleared 13 acres of power lines of the public protected Gergebil and Tlyarata regional networks.

As a source in the company’s press-service informed RIA "Daghestan", special attention to the high altitude transmission lines is paid due to their inaccessibility, especially in bad weather, when the power lines often fail.

"In total, more than 15,000 km of power lines go through the high mountain areas of Daghestan, a tenth of which is the share of high-voltage lines. Given the special importance of the latter for power supply, the "Dagenergoset" subsidiary pays specific attention to their maintenance. Following the repair program in these areas, the company has also repaired five transformers," the source noted.
