Gardening is gaining a special pace in Dagestan. The local farmers are increasingly implementing projects related to planting new vineyards. Thus, the total area of gardens in Dagestan reached almost 29 thousand hectares, of which 3 thousand hectares are intensive. At the same time, in 2021, the gross harvest of fruits amounted to 193 thousand tons. Specialists of the Russian Agricultural Center across Dagestan checked the seedlings that are used in the region for planting. The inspections covered more than 120 thousand pieces of seedlings of 10 varieties of fruit and nut crops. Almost all seedlings have confirmed their quality and suitability for planting in Dagestan.
