MAKHACHKALA, October 19 – RIA "Dagestan". In accordance with federal guidelines on supporting socially oriented non-commercial organizations, the Republic of Dagestan is implementing the "NGO House" pilot program.
An audit of existing support mechanisms has revealed insufficient infrastructure for non-governmental organizations, despite their critical role in emergency response operations, partially observed in March 2026. To address this gap, Acting Prime Minister of Dagestan Magomed Ramazanov announced the establishment of a specialized resource center spanning more than 600 square meters.
The hub will adhere to strict protocols for providing gratuitous services: legal counseling, grant-writing workshops and event hosting for social initiatives. Regulatory oversight ensures that renovation milestones are met by December 2026, with certification for opening procedures to follow in January 2027. This structural adjustment aligns regional practice with national best practices for civil society empowerment, ensuring transparent and accountable distribution of state-supported resources.
