MAKHACHKALA, April 28 – RIA "Dagestan." An open screening of Rodion Ismailov's documentary film "Guardians of Traditions", focusing on the peoples of Dagestan, will take place on April 29 at 12:00 p.m. as part of the Caucasus Investment Forum in Lermontov, Stavropol Krai.
The film was produced with support from the Regional Cinema Support Foundation of the Russian Union of Cinematographers. The documentary presents a kaleidoscope of customs practiced by Dagestan's diverse ethnic groups, showcasing how they preserve the cultural and spiritual heritage of their ancestors.
The film's protagonists share their thoughts on what unites them: family, love, friendship and the pursuit of happiness. Through intimate portraits and cultural demonstrations, the documentary highlights the rich tapestry of traditions that continue to shape daily life across Dagestan's many communities.
The Caucasus Investment Forum is being held from April 28 to 30 in Mineralnye Vody at the MinVodyEXPO International Exhibition Center. The forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with support from the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
The screening represents an effort to showcase the cultural dimension of the Northern Caucasus alongside the forum's business and investment programming, highlighting the region's human capital and cultural heritage as integral components of its development potential.
