Dagestan's youth rowing-indoor team will compete at the Russian Rowing Championship, which starts on February 17 in Kaluga, the press service of the republican Ministry of Sport reports. About 250 athletes from 20 regions are expected to take part in the big sports event. Dagestan will be represented by Azamat Aidekov, Kerim Kerimov from the village of Javankent (Kayakentski municipal district) and Abdul Tagirov and Gadzhiali Gadzhiev from Makhachkala. The team is headed by Javid Sarabi, coach of Makhachkala's Parus sports school. The rowers will compete on special concept simulators.
