The Ministry of Digital Development of the Republic proposed to reduce the rate of preferential mortgage for IT-specialists in the region. Such a proposal was made by the Minister Yuri Gamzatov at the meeting of government commission on the use of information technologies for the formation of digital economy ecosystem.

This type of support is included in the list of indicators of digital transformation developed by the Digital Development Ministry of Russia.    

"It is necessary to determine the possibilities of the republican budget in terms of co-financing the reduction of the all-Russian loan rate for IT specialists from 5 to 4.5 per cent, as well as to determine the operator of the support measure" Gamzatov said, speaking at the meeting.
