Since the beginning of 2024 8 thousand 48 self-employed have already registered in Dagestan, which is half as much compared to the same period in 2023. Over the past 4 years, the self-employed have formed more than 14 million checks.

“During the entire period of the experiment, more than 275,000 taxpayers in the republic legalized their activities. The total revenue from these activities amounted to more than 21 million rubles” - Aidar Bayramov, the head of the regional Department of the Federal Tax Service across the Republic of Dagestan said.

Most often, the self-employed in Dagestan are engaged in passenger transportation, sewing clothes, manufacturing and selling products of their own production, providing babysitting services, and car repair. According to statistic data, Dagestan has a higher number of self-employed individuals compared to other regions of the North Caucasus.
