Makhachkala, June 5, 2018. The results of the Republican contest of professional skills "The best social pedagogue of Dagestan - 2018" has been summed up in Makhachkala. The information about this is published on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the region.

The competition finals were held in Dagestan Institute for Educational Development. The competition was held to identify and support creative social educators, as well as to humanize the educational space, to enhance the professional skills and to exchange experience of social educators in the republic.

26 applications were submitted for participation in the republican competition. After the examination of materials in the distance selection stage, 10 contestants from differen municipal districts and Makhachkala, took part in the internal stage.

The contest was held in three levels. On the first one - "Business card" - the contestants demonstrated their ability to present themselves and their work. The second level task "I am a social service of salvation" was connected with the knowledge of normative legal acts, as well as the possession of methods of psychological and pedagogical support in bad situations. This stage demonstrated the existing gaps in the professional knowledge and the methods of work of the social educators.
At the final level, each contestant held a master class on an independently selected topic. According to the results of all stages, the social teacher of the boarding school of the village of Chernyaevka Kurban Aliverdiev (Kizlyar district) took the first place.
