Permanent Representation of Dagestan receives Iranian delegates

Makhachkala, July 19, 2016. On July 16, the Permanent Representation of Dagestan in Moscow received the economic advisor of the Iranian Embassy M. Mozafari and the deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Ardabil province (Iran) B. Suleiman.

The parties discussed the issues of cooperation between the regions, the development of trade and economic and cultural relations and tourism.

As informed, the Iranian delegates would intend to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation, which expects to include the projects on attraction of Iranian investments into the economy of Dagestan. The Iranian advisor noted that fruits and vegetables processing plants would be constructed in Dagestan. Besides, the Iranian representatives offered to open an exhibition of agricultural products in Makhachkala.

Dagestani Permanent Representative in Moscow Izumrud Mugutdinova stated her readiness to cooperate, to assist and to support Iranian initiatives.
The parties also considered an opportunity to organize a return visit of Dagestan delegation to Ardabil province to strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation and friendly relations.
