As to the Turkish Ambassador in Russia Tanju Bilgic, who is currently on his first official visit to Dagestan, the region draws interest of Turkish investors. The top diplomat has also pointed out that Turkey maintains excellent relations with Russia as the trade turnover between both countries reaches more than 60 billion dollars. “The Turkish businessmen consider tourism as the most prospective direction for investing and are ready to share their big experience” – Bilgic said.

"Investment in sports and cultural development is also a promising area for cooperation. Besides, the relations and partnerships with Dagestan's twin cities in Turkey can contribute to the successful attraction of investments. We are ready to support the development of relations and to attract investors to Dagestan" - Bilgic added.
