During the XXXIV exhibition-fair of folk arts and crafts "Ladia. Winter Fairy Tale-2023" held in Moscow, Dagestan took the first place in the nomination "For the best design of the regional exposition". The facade of the republic's exposition was stylized as the Naryn-Kala fortress.

More than 20 craftsmen, individual entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals representing various types of folk arts and crafts of Dagestan took part in the event. Within five days the masters demonstrated ancient techniques of souvenir making and held public master classes.

Kubachi silverware, Untsukul silverware with ornamental incrustation, Balkhar ceramics, jewelry, carpets, artistically designed weapons, knives and other products were presented at the exhibition site.
