Dagestan launches photo contest to attract tourists

A photo contest "Dagestan unexplored" has been launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Folk Arts and Crafts of Dagestan on June 10, the press service of the ministry reports. The event aims to show the beauty of the republic, its previously unseen places, to increase tourist attractiveness.

Applications will be accepted till October 20. Three nominations were announced: "Best Photo", "Best Video", "Dagestan Unexplored". The winner in each nomination will receive a 250 thousand ruble certificate.
