Makhachkala, May 31, 2017. The second national competition of short films entitled "My Dagestan" has kicked off in Dagestani capital, Makhachkala. The organizer - Dalgat Dalgatov realizes his idea of promoting tourism opportunities in Dagestan through the cinema.
Dagestan Ministry of Tourism and Folk Art Crafts supported the idea of a student of the Moscow University, because the nomination "My Dagestan" is connected with the promotion of Dagestan tourist potential, its crafts and natural monuments.
The national short film award "My Dagestan" will be organized this year for the second time, among the nominations - "Best Actor", "Best Actress", "Best Picture", "Best Screenplay", "Best Director", "Best Cinematography" "," My Dagestan "," The Prize of the Jury ". The jury will determine the winner by closed vote.
The winners will receive special prizes. Besides, Dagestan Ministry of Tourism will use the best work in the nomination “My Dagestan” to demonstrate the republic's tourist opportunities at the international exhibitions. A short film can also be viewed on the republican television channels.
