Dagestan is preparing to present the Caspian coastal tourism cluster project at the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF-2024), which will be held at the end of May 2024 in the town of Minvody, Stavropol Territory. Tourism for the republic is one of the main promising areas. The regional authorities seek for investors to the project. Apart from the Caspian tourist cluster, Dagestan plans to present roadside infrastructure development projects at CIF-2024. Along popular tourist routes it is necessary to build camping and petrol stations, logistics centers and other facilities for the convenience of tourists.

The region needs campsites and modern petrol stations that meet all the modern requirements. It is necessary to build roadside hotels, create logistics centers so that it would be possible to comfortably carry out cargo transportation, including from the mountainous part of Dagestan.

In Dagestan, the Caspian coastal tourist cluster project may be fully implemented by 2030. The volume of investments amounts to 80 billion rubles. At the same time, the volume of extra-budgetary investments in the project implementation may exceed 68 billion rubles.
