Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant (KEP) located in Dagestan and engaged in manufacture of defense products will conduct ground tests of the AP-55 multi-purpose helicopter developed by the enterprise. For the present time, the Plant engineers work on the main components of vehicle. They had already acquired the technology necessary for the manufacture of gearbox, blades, coaxial carrier system and some other components for the helicopter. The tests are scheduled for mid year.
