Dagestan increases volumes of alcoholic beverage production

Makhachkala, September 7, 2017. For the period of January-August 2017, the specialized enterprises have increased the volume of production of alcoholic beverages in the Republic of Dagestan. The corresponding message have been announced, September 6, by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food RD.

According to the data released by the press service, 18.6% more wine was produced compared to the same period in 2016. Besides, the production of vodka increased by 6.3%, the cognac by 4% .
At the same time, the production of wine increased most strongly at OJSC Derbent sparkling wine factory. Here in the period from January to July, 62.7 thousand decaliters (+ 42.7% compared to the same period of the previous year) were produced.

Moreover, the employees of the Derbent Brandy Factory produced 29.5 thousand dal of wine (six times more than during the same period of the last year).
