Abdurakhman Abdulkadyrov, a Greco-Roman wrestler from Dagestan, has been selected to represent Russia at the upcoming World Championships for wrestlers under 21 years of age. The championships will be held in Samokov, Bulgaria, commencing on August 17th. This marks Abdulkadyrov's return to international competition at this level, having previously represented Russia in similar events among younger athletes. Notably, Abdulkadyrov won a bronze medal at the World Youth Championship in 2024 and was crowned European champion in his age category in 2023.
