MAKHACHKALA, March 17 – RIA Dagestan. This year, reconstruction work is scheduled to begin at stadiums in the cities of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, Izberbash and Dagestanskie Ogni as part of efforts to upgrade regional sports infrastructure.
In Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, the project includes the installation of a football pitch, courts for team sports and improvements to lighting, fencing and landscaping. In Izberbash, similar landscaping upgrades are planned, along with major repairs to the spectator stands.
In Dagestanskie Ogni, the scope of work covers the construction of an administrative building, a prefabricated grandstand for 500 spectators, a football pitch and a sports playground.
According to available information, the Republican Investment Program encompasses a total of 14 sports facilities with a combined budget of RUB 1.4 billion. The program also includes the construction of a football boarding school in Krasnoarmeysk, a football center in Zelenomorsk and seven additional football pitches.
