MAKHACHKALA, July 29 – RIA "Dagestan". Representing Dagestan at the Russian Sailing Championship in Leningrad Region, a five-member crew claimed silver in the "Cruising Yacht 800" class on Lake Ladoga.
Alexey Lazarev, Ekaterina Titova, Konstantin Goreyev, Maria Kvitko and Nikita Kochmarev navigated a field of nine crews to secure second place. This success underscores the development of sailing as a competitive sport within the republic and its ability to contend with top national teams.
