MAKHACHKALA, May 21 – RIA Dagestan. Nazhmudin Abakarov has been included in the roster of the Russian freestyle wrestling team for the match against the Chinese team, scheduled to take place in Kaliningrad on May 23.
The event is being held as part of the 10th Russian-Chinese Youth Summer Games. At the tournament, the freestyle wrestler will compete in the weight category up to 55 kg.
In total, the mixed Russian team comprises 13 wrestlers: four representatives each from freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, as well as five female athletes. The match represents an opportunity for young wrestlers from both countries to gain international competition experience and strengthen sporting ties between Russia and China.
