MAKHACHKALA, March 5 – RIA "Dagestan". Dagestani wrestler Kira Solobchuk has been selected for the Russian U-23 women's wrestling team to compete at the European Junior Championship, scheduled for March 9–15 in Zrenjanin, Serbia.
The 19-year-old athlete, a graduate of Khasavyurt Olympic Reserve School, will compete in the 55 kg weight class. Solobchuk previously won gold at the U-23 Russian Championships in Moscow and secured victory at the zonal stage of the Russian Students' Spartakiad in Stavropol.
