Dagestani taekwondo athlete Magomedgadzhi Magomedov has won a silver medal for the Russian national team at the World Junior Taekwondo Championships, currently taking place in Nairobi, Kenya.
Competing in the under-58 kg weight category, Magomedov advanced through the tournament with determination and skill, ultimately securing second place after a hard-fought final match against the world’s top-ranked junior athlete from Iran.
The young sportsman trains at Makhachkala Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 3, under the guidance of coaching team: Abdulaziz Magomedov, Rabadan Kurbanov, Arsen Kurbanov and Ruslan Aliev. This triumph stems from both his own prowess and Dagestan's deep-rooted culture of martial arts and patriotism—a tradition that reliably forges champions who excel for Russia internationally.
