MAKHACHKALA, October 19 – RIA Dagestan. Dagestan wushu sanda team finished first in the team standings at the Russian Championship in Moscow, winning 10 of the 11 available gold medals.
Safar Magomedov (48 kg), Abakar Azizov (56 kg), Salavutdin Guseynov (60 kg), Ramazan Arslanbekov (65 kg), Bashir Mamayev (70 kg), Magomed-Rasul Magomedtagirov (75 kg), Umalat Gadzhiev (80 kg), Isker Abdulmuslimov (85 kg), Dzhafer Magomedov (90 kg) and Shamil Abdulmuslimov (+90 kg) have become the national champions.
Concurrently, Dagestan also took first place in the team standings at the Russian Junior Wushu Sanda Championship (for athletes aged 17–20) held in Moscow alongside the senior event.
