MAKHACHKALA, May 25 – RIA Dagestan. At the European Karate Championship in Frankfurt, Germany, Dagestani Gadzhi Gadzhiev claimed a bronze medal. The athlete finished third in the team event while representing the Russian national team. Russia's overall medal haul at the tournament stood at two gold and three bronze. Three Dagestanis—Islamutdin Eldarushev, Ikhtibar Akhmedov, and Nabi Magomedov—were part of the team's coaching staff.
