MAKHACHKALA, May 10 – RIA "Dagestan." On May 13, the Gala Concert of "Dagestan Student Spring-2026" festival, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, will take place at A.-P. Salavatov Dagestan State Kumyk Music and Drama Theater in Makhachkala.
The event is organized by the regional Youth Affairs Ministry and brings together creative student teams from across the republic. The Gala Concert will feature participants from five leading universities: Dagestan State University, Dagestan State Technical University, Dagestan State Pedagogical University, Dagestan State Medical University and Dagestan State University of National Economy.
Students will present 19 creative performances across various genres, including vocal music, national dances, contemporary choreography, spoken word and theatrical sketches. The program is designed to highlight both traditional cultural heritage and modern artistic expressions, reflecting the festival's theme of interethnic unity and youth engagement.
