MAKHACHKALA, September 25 – RIA Dagestan. First-year students at Dagestan State Medical University attended a special presentation detailing the benefits of the All-Russian student project "Your move". By participating in the event during their initial weeks of study, the freshmen gained valuable insights into the wide array of opportunities offered by one of the country's most expansive youth initiatives.
Representatives of the project's regional tour, Mikhail Gusev and Anastasia Podogova, gave students a detailed overview of the sixth season's competition tracks, participation requirements and the prospects awaiting finalists. Special emphasis was placed on the "I Discover" track, created specifically for the first-year students to help newcomers navigate opportunities for personal, educational and social development. Participants in the "Pathfinder" program receive mentorship support and a chance to win a monthly prize.
The "Your move" project is implemented with support of Rosmolodezh and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation as part of the "Russia – Land of Opportunity" presidential platform. In its sixth season, the project unites over 2.5 million participants and more than 700 partner educational institutions. The competition program includes five tracks: "I Do", "I Decide", "I Discover", "I Inspire" and "Your move, Group Leader!".
Regional project coordinator Daniyal Shabanov spoke about the work of the regional and student teams.
Applications for the sixth season of the "Your move" project can be submitted on the platform's official website. For the first-year students, registration for the "I Discover" track is open until September 30.
