MAKHACHKALA, October 14 – RIA "Dagestan". On October 14, the Directorate of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) across the Republic of Dagestan convened a seminar-meeting with heads of municipal formations and city districts to coordinate efforts on increasing local budget revenues.
Acting Head Omar Omarov reported that over the first nine months of 2026, local budgets received RUB 14.8 billion, achieving 109% of planned indicators and representing a 17% year-on-year growth (an increase of over RUB 2 billion).
The session featured presentations by FTS divisions on tax arrears collection, legalization of unregistered entrepreneurial activity, cash register compliance and enhanced interdepartmental interaction via the System of Interdepartmental Electronic Interaction.
Participants emphasized the role of digital tools in analyzing revenue discrepancies and agreed to strengthen cooperation across all operational areas, specifically targeting debt reduction, identification of shadow businesses and improved mobilization efficiency for municipal finances.
