MAKHACHKALA, March 30 – RIA Dagestan. — Magomed Valikhov, a Chevalier of three Orders of Courage, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Public Health of the Republic of Dagestan. The corresponding order was signed by Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, Chairman of the regional Government.
Valikhov is a participant in the second cohort of the "Time of Heroes" federal leadership program, which supports veterans of the special military operation in their transition to public service roles. As part of the initiative, he completed a targeted internship under the personal mentorship of Sergei Melikov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan.
The appointment reflects the regional administration's focus on bringing individuals with demonstrated resilience, leadership experience and commitment to public service into key governmental positions. Valikhov's military background and specialized training in governance are expected to support ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and infrastructure across the republic.
