DERBENT DISTRICT, October 6 – RIA "Dagestan". As part of the post-disaster recovery framework in Dagestan, a formal housing allocation ceremony has been conducted in the settlement of Mamedkala in Derbentski municipal district, providing 52 flood-affected families with new residences.
Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova, participating in an official regional assessment, announced a supplementary RUB 100-million tranche from the Eurasia ANO, initiated by the Ombudsman’s office, to finance 10 additional residential builds and one major repair in the settlement.
The comprehensive rehabilitation of the affected demographic remains a priority directive under the direct supervision of the Russian Federation President.
Mamedkala development has been fully commissioned with integrated municipal infrastructure and utility networks. Concurrently, broader regional mitigation efforts have disbursed over RUB 200 million for structural housing repairs and authorized more than 100 construction certificates for new dwellings. Acting Head of Dagestan Fyodor Shchukin reiterated the state's commitment to fulfilling all social obligations, acknowledging the synergistic contributions of construction contractors, donors, volunteer corps and civic stakeholders in the restoration process.
