The Russian Government has included the Republic of Dagestan among 21 priority regions to receive additional federal funding. Approximately RUB 5 billion have been reallocated under the "Modernization of Communal Infrastructure" project to support a large-scale, two-year renewal program in the republic.

This investment will directly address Dagestan's most pressing utility challenges through the comprehensive repair of heating supply networks, deep modernization of sewerage systems, and the construction of new infrastructure facilities. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin underscored that the program's strategic goal is to ensure decent living conditions across all communities, from large cities to rural settlements.

For Dagestan, this targeted federal support promises a decisive step toward stabilizing essential services, reducing emergency outages, and improving the quality of life for its residents. The republic joins other beneficiary regions like Belgorod and Rostov Oblasts in this critical national infrastructure initiative.
