MAKHACHKALA, May 15 – RIA "Dagestan". Shamil Ramazanov, Acting Minister of Agriculture and Food of Dagestan, reported to Fedor Shchukin, Acting Head of the Republic, on strengthened oversight of agro-projects receiving state subsidies.
The ministry provides support across 30 areas of the agro-industrial complex, with all procedures conducted digitally through the "Electronic Budget" system to ensure transparency and reduce corruption risks. Following the 2025 subsidy selection process, 401 out of 1,999 applicants were rejected for failing to meet established requirements.
To enhance oversight, a new structural unit has been established within the ministry. Active audits of budget fund recipients are underway and materials documenting identified violations are being forwarded to law enforcement agencies. The measures reflect the regional administration's commitment to improving the efficiency and accountability of state support for agricultural development.
